Container of length 20' for ADR transport
The container of length 20' for ADR transport can be used for
transport of dangerous substances in military purposes. This container ensures a safe storage of dangerous substances in time of use and in time of transport. Minimal staff and means of transport are required for manipulation of the container.
S-CD intervention wagon
Slovenian Railways have had a problem with an out-of-date system for interventions for the occasions of various irregular events (accidents, damages to equipment/rails, etc.), which was the reason why they needed a new, up-to-date system for interventions, which will shorten response time of an intervention and enhance safety and functionality of the system.
Existing situation
S (Slovenian Railways) had an outdated intervention wagon which was no longer able to provide reliable and safe performance at the prompt time of any given case of intervention.
The solution of the problem:
In compliance with the guidelines or demands of S (Slovenian Railways), our company has fabricated and outline scheme with a pre-implementation study. An examination has been carried out of whether the technical problem is performable or in other words whether the construction of the system is at all feasible.
Based on the schematic outline, we have, together with a project company (Pirnar and Savšek), undertaken to develop a new intervention wagon, more explicitly, two specialised containers integrated onto a special wagon.
Given the difficulty and the demanding nature of the project, we first made static calculations (of the steel part of the wagon), and then the outline scheme for construction, where all construction solutions have been exactly defined with precision and in details. Within the framework of the outline scheme for construction a 3D model has been elaborated along with the complete 2D plans.
After the consent of the PZI project from the client's side, began the production of the steel components of containers. The production itself was very demanding due to the complexity of the containers.
3D model
Because the container is used in the railway transport it was necessary to perform the special testings according to UIC, at which static adequacy of the containers and suitability for railway transport were duly examined.
Testing
The last step in the process was applying anti-corrosion coating, the final assembling of insulation and of different equipment. The final integration of containers into the system of the intervention wagon and functional acceptance (testing for speed at 120 km/h, determination of dimensional adequacy of the system, practical operation of all systems) was carried out by the S (Slovenian Railways).

Containers of the group ATOM
Containers of the group ATOM can be used for storage and transport of low and medium radioactive waste. They are painted with a paint that is appropriate for decontamination. These containers come in two constructions (as the Box container and as the OHT container which has a removable hard metal roof) and three types (such as Type A, IP2 and IP3) in the lengths 10', 20' and 40' (other dimensions w 8' h 8'6''; load bearing capacity 12 - 48 t).
Containers are designed for atom power plants, public agencies which deal with decommissioning of power stations, for transport companies, companies which deal with manufacturing of equipment used in atom power stations.
Advantages:
- Adaptability with regards to the types of containers,
- flexibility with equipment needs,
- quality.
